What a weekend indeed. Sorry for such a delay in adding to our blog but we have been so busy putting on the finishing touches to allow us to open. We started with friends and family last Tuesday followed by inviting all those who signed up for our news letter. We opened our doors to the public for Thursday night lights where we hit our occupancy capacity and had to have folks wait outside for a bit. Fortunately the line moved at a steady pace and people did not have to wait too long.
Friday was our official grand opening with the Mayor of Flemington cutting the ribbon. The Flemington fire department came out and showed there support by bringing a fire truck where they hung an American flag off the ladder bucket and extended it directly over our building. Todd and Bob got the opportunity to climb to the top for a great arial view.
Firday and Saturday brought in capacity crowds at a steady state. What was really nice was to see repeat customers already.
I can't tell how excited we are to finally open and receive such a wonderful welcome. We still have some items to work on and finish off but now our focus can turn from building a brewery to actually brewing some really good beer.
If you haven't stopped in yet, I encourage you to stop by, take a tour and then try a flight to sample our beer.
