Lone Eagle Brewing 1st Year Anniversary

Lone Eagle kicked off its first year anniversary celebration on Friday, July 21st and concluded the celebration on Saturday, July 22nd.  The turn out was spectacular bringing in many of our regular patrons along with many new craft beer enthusiasts.

It's hard to believe we've been open for a full year already.  Here's a quick recap of our first year of operations:

June 15, 2016 - Lone Eagle brews its very first beer, an American Pale Ale.

July 21, 2016 - Flemington starts Thursday Night Lights series with live music.  Lone Eagle opens its doors to the public for the first time.

July 22, 2016 - Lone Eagle officially opens it's door with the official ribbon cutting ceremony.

Aug, 2016 - Keg distribution begins.  Applebee's of Flemington is our very first external account.

Oct, 2016 - First annual Oktoberfest.  Staff wears some pretty silly German costumes (we really need better attire going forward).  We also celebrated our first annual Halloween party and constume contest.

Nov, 2016 - First canning of the Turkey Trot Porter and Maiden Flight West Coast Style IPA.  A new tradition is born: we opened on Thanksgiving morning in anticipation of serving growlers following the 5K Flemington Turkey Trot run.  We were delighted with turn out and hoping this becomes everyone's Thanksgiving "Pre-Game".

Dec, 2016 - Many Holiday Party's take place at the brewery.  Some stories are just not worth repeating.

Feb, 2017 - First Bourbon Barrel Aged beer produced, the Golden Imperial Stout.

Mar, 2017 - Lone Eagle Brewing participates in A.C. Beer and Music Festival which turns out to be the 2nd largest in the country with over 20,000 people attending.  Lone Eagle Brewing takes first place with the Maiden Flight West Coast Style IPA.

Jun, 2017 - Our third 20 BBL arrives (nearly 4 months later than we had hoped) bringing us to 80 BBL of fermenting capacity.

In our first year, we produced over 55 different beers, established accounts at over 50 different bars and restaurants throughout central New Jersey and over 20 liquor stores for our canned products.

It is amazing to see how we have grown in just a year.  In fact, we are already getting squeezed on space in our brewing area.

We are grateful to have Alex, our head brewer, who continues to craft excellent beer.

We are also grateful for the great staff we have.  They continue to create a relaxed and enjoyable beer tasting experience that our customers very much appreciate.

Finally, we are grateful to our customers who appreciate great beer.  We salute you and raise our glass of craft beer to thank you for providing us with a great first year.  We can't wait to see what our second year brings...

Cheers!
